What you will do
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, delivery, and governance of multiple technology transformation projects.
- Define and manage project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across application development, cloud, data, infrastructure, testing, and information security.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required.
- Establish and conduct project governance meetings, steering committee discussions, and stakeholder reviews.
- Prepare and present project status reports, progress updates, and delivery performance metrics to senior management.
- Act as the primary coordination point between customers, internal delivery teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Monitor project budgets, financial performance, resource utilization, and delivery commitments.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed quality standards, security policies, timelines, and organizational governance frameworks.
- Manage application development, application modernization, cloud migration, and data transformation initiatives.
- Oversee multiple projects and parallel workstreams while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage Agile and Hybrid project delivery approaches and ensure effective execution throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, operational efficiency, and team performance.
- Support the adoption of AI-driven software development and testing practices, including AI-assisted development, test automation, and quality engineering solutions.
- Ensure effective communication, collaboration, and coordination across multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
What you bring
- 12+ years of overall professional experience, including 4–5+ years of hands-on Project Management experience.
- Proven experience managing complex technology transformation, application development, and modernization projects.
- Strong background in application development, application modernization, cloud migration, and/or data transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing multiple projects, parallel workstreams, and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Good understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of modern application architectures, cloud technologies, and enterprise technology environments.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project delivery methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Agile and Hybrid project management methodologies.
- Experience with project management and delivery tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Experience in project governance, stakeholder management, resource planning, budgeting, and risk management.
- Ability to manage customer relationships, third-party vendors, and internal delivery teams.
- Experience in financial services or insurance industry projects is highly preferred.
- Exposure to AI-driven software development and testing, including AI-assisted coding, automated test generation, and quality engineering tools, is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar Generative AI-assisted engineering tools is a strong advantage.
